Narrative Interview Skills Training
Whether you’re new to research or looking to strengthen your interviewing skills, this workshop will help you create the conditions for participants to share the stories and experiences that matter most.
This training builds researchers’:
- Understanding of the foundations and purpose of narrative interviewing within participatory research
- Skills in using techniques to elicit rich, experience-based accounts from participants
- Confidence is using stratagies to create inclusive conditions that support meaningful storytelling
- Knowledge to identify practical steps to apply narrative interviewing within research or co-design activities
- Bank of tools and resources that enable consistent, high quality narrative interviews

- One highly interactive 3-hour online workshop
- Short pre-workshop resources and a reflective handout with key tools and frameworks to take back to clinical practice
